Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony

Style Icon: Chloe Sevigny

I love Chloe Sevigny's style. She throws together an amazing eclectic mix that is so unique. Her own style shines through in the line she designs for Opening Ceremony...

"Christian Dior Presents Photographs by Quentin Shih"

I was walking through South Coast Plaza the other day and noticed some sort of Dior event being set up. After further research I found out that it is a really interesting photography exhibit featuring works done by artist Quentin Shih. The exhibit marks the collection's first showing in the U.S. The photographs feature models from Dior's Winter 2008 haute couture show digitally combined with actual images of Chinese landscapes. They look amazing and I will definitely being going back to see them in full force...

The show will run from now until November 7th, so go check it out!

Sad I Missed This...

Alexander Wang and Vena Cava each designed looks for the Gap (released in June), taking their iconic khaki fabric and putting the designers' own spin on it..

Current Obsessions

Fiona Paxton  jewelry
Can you say "statement" piece? Gorgeous, unique, & so detailed

Over-the-knee Boots
I could die happy in these studded Candela "pirate" boots

Elegant + Edgy
I just love the combination of something as feminine as lace combined with something hard
like leather.

Menswear
I'm still hung up on the "boyfriend" blazers & jeans and the "grandpa" cardigan sweaters. Not to mention these gorgeous suede Joie oxfords.

Weak for Wang

"Anyone can get all dressed up and glamorous, but its how people dress in their off days, that are the most intriguing. It's during these in between, wayward days when a person's true style emerges from their everyday life...(http://www.alexanderwang.com/)"

Alexander Wang makes the difficult task of combing clean and classic with provocative street wear look effortless. The results are amazing, and my current obsessions.

Some of my favs from the Spring 2010 RTW Collection...
